Learn to Dive with 72 Aquatics by Paragon Dive Group

Getting certified is fun, easy, and life-changing—and it all begins with your classroom and pool sessions. The in-class sessions are workshop-oriented with active learning sessions. In the pool, you’ll practice essential skills that build perfect buoyancy and safe diving habits. A typical course runs over two evenings during the week and two weekend days, giving you plenty of time to learn at your own pace.

Once you’ve completed your classroom and pool work, your adventure continues with your certification dives. These final dives are usually completed over a weekend in San Carlos, Mexico in the Sea of Cortez or optionally at Lake Pleasant (additional trip and instructor fees apply).

Our Open Water Certification courses start every other week throughout the year. You’ll begin with a personal class orientation, where we walk you through course requirements, what’s included in your package, and get you started with your digital materials.

To ensure comfort and safety, each student is required to have their own personal snorkeling equipment: scuba-quality mask, snorkel, fins, boots, surface marker, and two mouthpieces. Students purchasing their gear from us receive an exclusive discount.
