The Galapagos (August 2025) is our highlight for 2025. We will be diving on the Humboldt Explorer Liveaboard for 8 days and 7 nights. The Galápagos Islands are an archipelago of Volcanic Islands. The area boasts incredible geology and an even more incredible underwater environment. The islands are situated on both the north and south side of the equator. This fact, coupled with three main ocean currents that converge in the area, have created some of the most nutrient rich waters and diverse plant and animal life in the world. Darwin Island, one of several islands that we will be diving on this trip, was named after Charles Darwin. The island boasts two prominent landmarks now nicknamed the 'Pillars of Evolution'. A fitting name for the history and diversity of the area and what we will experience on this trip.
