Are you ready to take your freediving passion to the next level and inspire others to explore the underwater world? The SSI Freediving Instructor Course is your gateway to becoming a professional freediving educator.
This comprehensive 10-day program focuses on developing your ability to teach and mentor freedivers, blending theory, pool training, and open water sessions aboard a dive boat or shore. You’ll gain hands-on experience with SSI’s teaching methods and philosophy, refine your freediving techniques, and master the skills needed to lead safe, effective, and engaging courses.
Prerequisites:
- Certification: SSI Advanced Freediver (or equivalent) and SSI Training Techniques.
- Experience: Minimum of 100 logged freediving sessions.
- Age: 18 years or older.
- First Response Training: Valid CPR, AED, First Aid, and Oxygen Provider certification.
- Medical Clearance: A signed medical statement confirming fitness for freediving.
- Equipment: Ownership of professional-grade freediving gear.
