SSI Freediving Instructor Course

Are you ready to take your freediving passion to the next level and inspire others to explore the underwater world? The SSI Freediving Instructor Course is your gateway to becoming a professional freediving educator.

This comprehensive 10-day program focuses on developing your ability to teach and mentor freedivers, blending theory, pool training, and open water sessions aboard a dive boat or shore. You’ll gain hands-on experience with SSI’s teaching methods and philosophy, refine your freediving techniques, and master the skills needed to lead safe, effective, and engaging courses.

Prerequisites:

• Certification: SSI Advanced Freediver (or equivalent) and SSI Training Techniques.
• Experience: Minimum of 100 logged freediving sessions.
• Age: 18 years or older.
• First Response Training: Valid CPR, AED, First Aid, and Oxygen Provider certification.
• Medical Clearance: A signed medical statement confirming fitness for freediving.
• Equipment: Ownership of professional-grade freediving gear.
